I've spent my career split between startups (some successful, some not so much) and leading technology companies. Along the way, I developed a passion for talent and culture in high-performance startups.
Most recently I was the Interim COO of Tackk, a ridiculously simple tool for creating and sharing stories online, and currently serve as a Partner with HATCH, Tackk's lead angel investor. HATCH provides coaching, connections and capital to entrepreneurs who are starting or stuck. Prior to joining HATCH, I was the Vice President of Entrepreneurial Talent at JumpStart, an organization that assists and invests in tech startups in Northeast Ohio. At JumpStart, I advised portfolio companies on their talent strategies while providing direct support recruiting board members, executive leaders and staff. Before joining JumpStart, I was the Director of Strategic Development at Findaway World, recognized as one of Inc. magazine's 500 Fastest Growing Companies for 2008. Before returning home to Ohio, I held senior marketing positions at Apple, Netflix and Virgin Mobile in San Francisco and London.
Before all that, I went to Stanford, where I met a lot of smart people.
