Here, you will find the colonies of New Hampshire, Massachusetts Bay Colony, Rhode Island and Connecticut. One benefit to industry is that there is good trading. People traded fish, whale products, ships, timber products, furs, maple syrup, copper, livestock products, horses, rum, whiskey and beer. Another industry benefit is that fishing and lobster were big business. Ship building was also a major industry so they made quite a bit of money. Benefit to the climate is that is may be colder but the good thing is that there was less diseases and sickness. Another climate benefit was that there were mild summers which meant when you worked out in the fields, you wouldn't get as hot. A benefit to agriculture is that even though there was bad soil, you could still grow quite a few crops such as corn, pumpkins, rye, squash and beans were raised. Another benefit to agriculture is that you were surrounded with trees for shade and you also had fish and whales around you so you could use the fish for food.
