Martin O'Malley

Martin O'Malley was born in the District of Colombia on January 18, 1963. He is currently 51 years old and is married to Katie O'Malley. He has four children and their names are Tara, Grace, Jack, and William O'Malley. He is the 61st governor of Maryland and the party he represents is the democratic party. Mr. O'Malley was recognized by Esquire and Time magazine as "the best mayor in the country" and as one of America's "Top 5 Big City Mayors."

What is his job?

The governor's job is to suggest and veto state laws. He is to be the chief of National Guard. The governor is to enforce the laws and play a key role in the policy making process. He has 7 roles: chief of state, chief legislator, party chief, commander in chief, and chief administrator. The governor also has to regulate aspects of business and economy and provide services.
