Question: Will the salt melt the ice cube faster then sugar or pepper?
Hypothesis: I think the salt will melt the ice cube because the molecules will work faster to melt it.
Variables: Controlled: Ice cubes, and plates Manipulated: Salt, pepper, and sugar Responding: Amount of melted water.
Conclusion: In conclusion my hypothesis was correct. The reason it was correct is that the salt melted the ice cubes faster than sugar or pepper. The pepper caused very little reaction and the sugar's reaction was almost equal to the salt, but the salt was faster.
