Math Solutions-Multiplying Mixed Numbers
To multiply a mixed number with another you must do your 'around the world' method. This method helps you to convert the mixed numbers into fractions. First multiply your denominator by your whole number, then you must add that number to the numerator. After adding that all up put the number you got as the numerator, but remember to always keep your denominator the same as it was before.
The fraction for the example would be 15/8 times 24/9.
