South of the border
2,000 miles away
on the edge of a jungle
lies a hidden bay.

Colorful parrots in the trees
as pelicans sore within the warm ocean breeze.

Iguanas find rocks to bake under the sun,
while tourists wander and have fun.

Turquoise water crashes on white sand,
creating a rhythm by natures band.

The time has come,
I have to go
Leaving the paradise
as we know.
