The Earth's axis is what made the Seasons, because different parts of the Earth recieve different temperatures from the tilt of the axis. As the Earth rotates around the Sun, the tilt of the axis changes, causing another climate change. Throughout a section of the year, the Southern Hemisphere leans toward the Sun, while the Northern Hemisphere leans away. The part landing towards the Sun experiences Summer, while the part leaning away, experiences Winter. These tilts change over time.
