How does the type of circuit affect the strand of Christmas lights with a burned out bulb?

IV: type of circuit

DV: strand of lights

If the Christmas lights are arranged in a parallel circuit then when one bulb bursts the other bulbs will not light up.

When one bulb was removed the other bulbs were still lite up.

I noticed that even if the bulbs aren't all on different rows of wire they still light up.

I noticed that when I took a bulb away the other bulbs didn't light up.

A parallel circuit would be the best because if one light bulb goes out not all the other lights will go out with it.
