Student Service Development

Building the future community, one person at a time

"The love we seek to encourage is in the Black community..." Stokely Carmichael

What a great time! Hanging out with friends, and community partner Dr. Nubra Elaine Floyd, Co-founder of Second Saturday Network (SSNet). The occasion was a pre-holiday dinner of University of California Santa Cruz, African/Black Student Alliance (A/BSA). An impressive collection folks- a very diverse; talented group of young gifted Freshman, Sophomore, Juniors, and Seniors. As the future's promise, they are all eager, and willing to take the reins of initiative...seize the challenge of the day, and change tomorrow. Our role was two-fold: as envoys to spark collaboration, and as mentors to cement best community and university relations. Judging from the picture above, we are off to a fantastic beginning.
