Judge Tim Wright knowingly sold seven guns to a convicted felon. He also lied while buying the guns saying they were for himself when in fact he was buying them for someone else. Wright went before a federal judge last Wednesday. The Judge made him give up his passport, CHL, and he also has restricted travel only to a couple surrounding counties. He was later suspended by The State Commission on Judicial Conduct after being charged with a felony crime.
Aaron Hernandez Life with no parole
Former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez was in disbelief Wednesday as he was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole. He was charged with first degree murder of his onetime friend Odin Lloyd and was also found guilty of unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition. Hernandez is looking at life in maximum security prison with no possibility of parole. He is also being investigated for a double murder when he shot and killed 2 men in their car after they bumped into him spilling his drink at a club and not saying sorry.
Teen refuses chemotherapy
17 year old girl, Cassandra C, who at first refused treatment for a highly curable cancer is now in remission and has 2 months left of her 6 month plan. Cassandra was ordered into temporary state custody in January by the Connecticut Supreme Court. State judges ruled she was too young and immature to make her own medical conditions. They ordered her to go through chemo at a Hartford hospital where the treatments began in November. She was diagnosed in September with Hodgkin lymphoma, a very curable cancer. Before the court order she had refused to undergo chemo and wanted to look into alternative ways the treat her disease.
Woman goes blind from her perscription
Dr. Ricardo Tan treated Stacey Miller for symptoms related to her previously diagnosed Hepatitis C in 2011. She was to undergo weekly injections of lipoic acid, an antioxidant supplement. After about 9 weeks of treatment she all of a sudden had a severe reaction resulting in her being hospitalized for several weeks, having multiple blood transfusions, and permanently blind in both eyes. She is suing Dr. Tan, Randol Mill, and the several pharmacists that work there.

No talking by students taking exams. If a student ignores this rule the student will be warned unless it is an obvious attempt at cheating which has no warnings. At the next occurrence the exam will be taken up, noting the reason, and returned to the instructor for further actions. If you are found cheating you will take an immediate 0 no matter what and will not be able to take the test again.
