Did you know that a simple box of pizza is made up of over 20 ingredients?
The ingredients are:
Crust: Enriched wheat flour, water, vegetable oil, yeast, salt, sugar.
Sauce: Tomato puree, water, vegetable oil, salt, sugar, modified corn starch, modified palm oil, garlic powder, hydrolyzed corn protein, mono and diglycerides, dextrose, spices, caramel colour.
Toppings: Spinach. Cheeses: Edam and mozzarella cheese (milk, bacterial culture, salt, calcium chloride, microbial enzyme).
We find it crazy that a simple food item like pizza has over 20 ingredients!

- Dr Oetker's first North American factory was built in London, Ontario to make frozen pizzas made from Ontario produce.
Where does the food packaging go after?
This package is recyclable which means that after you're done with it, it can be reused to make more packages.
On the packaging, we see a "SOS children villages" sign. It is a non-profit organization which works towards protect the rights of children. This food's story affects the health of the environment by helping and supporting the rights of children. If you "like" Dr. Oetker on facebook, 5 cents goes towards SOS. If you "like" Dr. Oetker you will receive a pin. If you enter that pin on the Raise Some Dough Facebook page, 25 cents will go to SOS. This is kind way to give back. Dr Oetker is using some of their profits to give back!
