Ambiguous is an adjective meaning "open to multiple interpretations or ideas", just like the Industrial Revolution. While the Industrial Revolution seemed grand, which it was, bad things also happened, changing people's interpretations of it. During the Industrial Revolution, children were put into labor, forcing them to deal with heavy and dangerous equipment, and urbanization took over the country, destroying the homes of wildlife, and the Native Americans. Even though this may seem bad, the word ambiguous can have other interpretations, just like the Industrial Revolution. The Industrial Revolution gave way to the electric motor, the light bulb, and more inventions, generating more efficiency and generating more inventions such as sewing machines, computers, cameras, and so much more. The Industrial Revolution really opened the gates to the advancements of mankind all over the world, and without it, life would never be the same.
