Hydrogen Peroxide With Yeast

By Jacob Johnson and Dillon Burruss

This reaction was a exothermic because the temperature raised.  The lowest temperature was about 18 degrees Celsius and the highest temperature was about 29 degrees Celsius. The reactants starts with hydrogen peroxide and yeast. 2H2O2  -->  2H2O + O2 + Heat and the product ends with 2 molecules of water, one molecule of Oxygen gas, and heat.  The evidence that a chemical reaction has occurred is that there were bubbles;  BUBBLES; LOTS OF BUBBLES!!!!!
