Harry Potter
and the
Chamber of Secrets

A Book Review By LM

I recently (re-re-re-re-re)read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the second book in the Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling, and I really liked it (again). Harry Potter, now a 2nd year at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry, is getting frustrated. His friends haven't bothered to try and contact him since school ended. But when a strange house-elf named Dobby reveals that there is plot against Harry at Hogwarts and tries to convince him to stay home for the year, Harry refuses. But when he gets to Hogwarts, there are many student attacks and threats by a mysterious villain called Slytherin's Heir, and everyone suspects Harry as the culprit. Determined to clear his name and save the students, Harry goes into the Chamber of Secrets where he finds disturbing secrets of the past. Is Ginny being secretive for a reason? Is Tom Marvolo Riddle a trustworthy person, or is there something that he's hiding? Who is actually Slytherin's Heir?
