Is it possible to admire or respect a person whom you know has committed acts of genuine evil?
It is possible to admire or respect someone who has committed acts of wrong doing because forgiveness should always be an open option. Plus you admire people for their good actions and everyone makes mistakes.
Matthew 6:14-15 NIV
"For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."
