ZEUS

Who was ZEUS?
Zeus was the god of the sky and ruler of the Olympian gods. He was Cronus and Rhea's son and he became the lord of the universe.
How did he grew up?
Zeus grew up with Ambrosia and Nectar that floded from the horns of a goat, Amalthea, and with the gentle nymphs that took care of him. Zeus grew rapidly so he strode out of the cave as a great new god. To thank the nymphs for tending him so well, he gave the horns of the goat that could never be emptied. With the hide of the goat he made an inpenetrable breastplate called the Aegis and now he was stronger than Cronus, that he could not do anything against him.
When did ZEUS became the lord of the universe?
He became the Lord of the Universe when Metis, in that moment Zeus' wife only because she was the godess of prudence and he needed her good advice, gave Cronus a ''magic herb'' that should supposedly make him unconquerable. Instead it made him so sick he vomited the stone he had swallowed and his five other chidren that were Zeus' brothers. So they allied with him because he saved their lives.
Who were the Olympian gods ZEUS shared his power with?
The gods Zeus shared his power with were the gods Hades, god of the underworld; Posedon, god of the sea; and the goddesses Hestia, goddess of war; Demeter, goddess of harvest and plants; and Hera, the goddess of marriage.
