Learning to Teach
Day 37: Connections
Today I continued my lesson about Psychological disorders. While I did not have the students move a lot today. I did have them watch a video clip about a popular figure that most of the students recognized, Howie Mandel from Deal or No Deal. The reason I used that was to bring some relativity to the students and have them see a psychological disorder in action.
Again, most students seemed to be engaged in the lessons asking questions, and answer the questions I gave them with some enthusiasm.
I felt for this however I could have had done more with demonstrations and more visual representation of the disorders that I was explaining. However, my fault came from thinking that if my students do not seem to have any questions, does not necessarily mean that they truly understand.
