Dominican Republic

In Dominican Republic they have many of the same traditions as us. For example after we stuff ourselves, we sit around, drink wine or beer, and just talk. We also visit around the neighbor hood, and take food to the elderly who weren't able to cook. We share many of the same traditions as them. Also women do most of the cooking. The difference is they do most of their eating on Christmas Eve, while they save Christmas Day for the leftovers and recuperation. Avery, your tone is a bit too casual considering this is a class project. You could have provided more specific information about traditions in the D.R. (ex. Are there any specific dishes?) Pictures that showed a little more detail of the country would also have been good or a video showing some type of celebration.
