End of Year College Project
There are no specific reasons as to why we ‘need’ good people in this world, but there is always a positive mark that they leave which can stay with us forever and create an unbreakable chain of kindness. These acts of kindness can range from simply stopping your car in order for someone or something to pass the street to saving someone’s life with just giving them a meal.
The number casualties regarding run-over accidents are outrageously high, and would be even higher if it weren’t for those people who have it in their hearts to stop for a minute to let he/she/it cross the road. These ‘good people’ don’t care whether it is a human being crossing the street or a mother duckling with her babies because at the end of the day they prevented an accident from happening. Stopping the car isn’t the only way these people have prevented accidents, helping someone cross the road, stopping traffic and many more are other examples of acts that good people have done.
Homeless don’t always have something to eat. They may starve. They may not. It may all depend on you and me and all those other good people in this world. A complete meal isn’t necessarily needed, although it would be nice, you can save someone with simple something hot in the cold or something small anytime. “Carry out a random act of kindness with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.” – Princess Diana.
We can all accept that at one point in life it can be and will be nearly impossible to be good and yes, we are going to want to just walk away and in some occasions it may be better to just let things resolve themselves and that is fine, however, those circumstances aren’t always going to be what is happening.
The world does need good people in a way, people who can and will try to watch out for one another. Although, being a good person doesn’t always require performing an action in order to make a difference, sometimes it can be to simply walk away.
Letter of Recomendation
To whom it may concern,
I would like to recommend Angel Perez as a candidate for a position with your organization. I have personally known Angel for half of my life, he is a hard working person who not only does a great job at whatever he sets his mind to but also takes no breaks until he accomplishes his goal. He has excellent verbal, social and persuading skills, as well as being able to multitask when needed to.
Angel has done several volunteering jobs and never once has he been late or has had to leave early for any reason. In these volunteering opportunities he has had to direct a couple of groups to achieve a goal and form what I have seen and heard those groups never once had a problem.
Angel can be an important asset for any employer of his and I fully recommend you take interest in him.

Dear Mr. Beckham,
My name is Fatima Hernandez and I am 22 years old. I have a Master’s in architecture from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s in business. I believe I can bring great accomplishments to your company with my many skills. My previous work experiences have required me to work with others as well as to complete goals in limited amounts of time.
I would like to grow both as a person as well as professionally and I very much believe working with you can help me get to where I want to be. All of my life I have been taught that thing don’t just get handed to you in a silver plate but earned with hard work for the one who wants them the most.
