The creator of Confucianism was named Kong Qui.  Kong Qui wanted peace among his people, so he created Confucianism. In Confucianism you respect those above you.

This symbol is called double happiness. This symbol was used in Chinese religious culture. This Chinese symbol was often used to express a variety of things.

This is the Chinese symbol for scholar. It also means a learned person.  The second definition is very connected to Confucianism.

This symbol is called Yin Yang. It's meaning depends on which school of Chinese thought is using it.  The circle represents a whole while the dots represent balance.

This is the Chinese symbol of water. It is one of the five elements of Chinese philosophy. This was an important symbol because water was seen as a life source.
