I think this sums things up perfectly. Coding really is a new type of literacy. As computers continue to become a more integral part of our daily lives, it’s going to become just as important to teach our children to code as it is to teach them to read. Well parents would be surprise when we teach them how to code. The first time I try coding for me it was hard for others it was pretty easy for them it was cool to learn coding you can learn very easy Mrs. Ledkins said that a lot of people that are good at coding they earn a lot of money. Or create games and earn money with that.
By the year 2020, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that the U.S. economy will need more than 1.4 million programmers — or nearly four times the number of students who will graduate with computer science degrees over the next 10 years. Yet 90 percent of schools don’t offer any computer programming classes, according to Code.org.While 57% of bachelor’s degrees are earned by women, just 12% of computer science degrees are awarded to women," and "In a room full of 25 engineers, only 3 will be women."
