What is the Tone?

The tone is how the author express his or her feeling about the story.

The Giving Tree

The tone of The Giving Tree is sad it when the boy goes away and when the tree can't give anymore. It is also cheerful because the boy come back to see the tree. So that the tone of that story and why the tone is sad and cheerful.

Old Age Sticks

The tone of Old Age Sticks is Ironic because Old men got mad on the things kids were doing they probably did the same thing when they were kids. They were yelling at kids for stuff that bother them. So the tone is Ironic and those are the reason.

Coyote vs. Acme

Tone of the story Wile E. Coyote vs. Acme the tone is humorous because the stuff that Wile E. Coyote bought from Acme and he sue Acme because there product cost harm to his body. Another example for tone in this story is matter of fact because Wile E. Coyote express his opinion of the Acme products explain the injuries he had with Acme products. The tone of this was humorous and Matter Fact.
