Nerlens Noel has many positive aspects that would help the Cavaliers be more successful. The Cavs need more of an impact in the paint, and Noel would help. He is excellent on defense and rebounding. He gets several blocks a game and defense is usually where the Cavs struggle at times. Noel is also extremely athletic and quick, able to help prevent fast break points made by the other team. His passing is stronger than most centers and is dedicated to stopping the opponent.
Although Noel adds much to the Cavaliers, he can't help with everything. He isn't an offensive player who would make a huge impact on the team. He wouldn't be needed for offense as much as defense, since theCavs have plenty of great offensive players. Noel can also develop in the post, where he doesn't focus on as much. The Cavs' coaching staff could help improve him to be a better post player. Lastly, he injured his ACL, but since he is so young, bouncing back shouldn't be a problem.
