Myth: ADHD and ADD isnt' a real medical disorder
1. ADHD is not a real medical disorder, but instead something people convince themselves they have or use as an excuse.
2.The fact of the matter is ADHD has been recognized as a legitimate diagnosis by major medical, psychological, and educational organizations, including the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Department of Education
3.Research shows that it’s a result of an imbalance of chemical messengers, or neurotransmitters, within the brain.
4. Its primary symptoms are inattention, impulsiveness, and, sometimes, hyperactivity.
5. ADHD consists of mainly behavioral and mental symptoms, not so much physical.
