Excretory System

Excretory System: Gets rid of waste and is a combination of all systems that filter or help remove waste. It also has a process that can remove all of our food waste, and/or nutrients waste.

Parts of this system are... Integumentary system, digestive system, urinary system, and muscular system, nervous system

1)The human intestine is usually 27 feet long and 10 inches. (8.5 meters long)

2) The average adult bladder can hold 16-24 ounces of urine.

3) A liver would be about 3 pounds in an average human.

4) The liver is rubbery to touch.

5)One kidney (approximately) measures to about 4 inches.

The excretory system  is a close partner with both the circulatory and endocrine system. The circulatory system connection is obvious. Blood that circulates through the body passes through one of the two kidneys.
