Persuasive Essay

                                                    Le Cordon Bleu

I want to go to Le Cordon Bleu because they have a respect or cooking and keeping old techniques but still having a modern spins on those techniques. I deserve to go to this school because I have a passion for cooking, its my dream to be a professional chef, and I have skills and abilities that I think will fit in with your school.

My dream ,to be a professional chef, started ever Since I was little. I always watched my mom and grandma in the kitchen whipping up some dinner for the rest of the family. I always wanted to help her make the food, even though I never really got to. I became fascinated with the way they made the food and how it tasted I would critique my mom when the meat was too dry or when there was not enough sauce. I always loved food and I eat about 4-6 times a day by having snacks in between meals, I could never think about being anorexic. As I got older I found the Food Network channel and I watched my favorite shows for hours watching different people cook their own ways. But what really got me into pastries was Cake Boss with Buddy who’s father opened the backer and he now owns it. I didn't always know what I wanted to be though, I used to wanted to be a dentist, following the footsteps of my Dad. In 8th grade I finally choose what I wanted to be, I love food and thought cooking was fascinating, so culinary arts would be a good idea. I plan to make my dream happen but all I need is a culinary school. I now am set on becomming a pastry chef and I hope my dream, one day will come true.

I specifically want to be a pastry chef and open my own bakery, before I do this I thought that I would need to go to school first. I’m lucky and unlike a lot of people I know exactly what I want to be and do. I am willing to learn and will do anything to be in culinary school. Decorating cakes and making pastries has only sounded so fun to me, I do it all the time at home, but i want to learn how to create classic pastries. If ai have a dream and I want it I will get it, I will do anything to be a pastry chef. I want to go to Le cordon Bleu because it is the number one culinary school and i can see myself cooking there and being apart of the school. Once I’m accepted I know you will enjoy my company and I will be very well behaved. Right now i am taking a cooking class and will know some sort of cooking but I still hope to learn new things from your school and promise to never get bored with the classes because there is just so much to learn and remember. If i am accepted and I graduate I will not waste the education and get a good job that I will sustain myself with. Another reason why I want to apply to your school is because you still have the classic ways for making and preparing food and I want to learn how to do that but still have modern technology and put my own spins on cooking the food. I want to go to Culinary School in Austin because its the closest Le Cordon Bleu to my home.

I think that I can make it in this school because I am very organized and I am a perfectionist. I am a very hard worker and always have been, and a lot of the time I over achieve in school and in projects. I try my best to do the best that I can do, I recently took a AP test and after that test I thought I did terrible, but I had to tell myself that I did the best that could and it's all over now so I need to let it go and move on. This also happens when my perfectionist comes in and I don’t like the way somethings look or I don’t get my way I get frustrated so i just take a deep breath and let it go. I will do anything to keep my education and my work.

I hope that you can think about my request and accept me for this school, I will be so very grateful and be joyful that to get into this magnificent school, that I wanted to got to for a little why. I promise I will be the best student and will follow the rules be on my best behavior . I will cook my heart out and you will see that i was a great choice for this position in your school. Thank you for your time in reading this essay, I hope it was worth it.
