Do not use ALL CAPS, this is known as online screaming and is rude.
Do not send around hoaxes or chain letters, you don't want to mislead anybody.
Use correct spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and grammar, they could misinterpret you.
Use emoticons only when appropriate, whenever you want to express your feelings
Do not attach unnecessary files, again you could be misleading people.
Make your format look professional, if you don't people won't take you as seriously.
Email back at a decent time, you wouldn't want to leave your friend hanging.
Do not send inappropriate messages you could get a ticket or get in trouble with your parents.
