One Amazing Thing

Pick one incredible thing you have learned this year and write three sentences about it in the comments below.  I really want to know about something you remember and why you think it was interesting or worth remembering.  Each of you have done something amazing this year... you've become better scientists.  You should be proud of that.

Is this picture totally me or what?!

I learned what is a cnidocyte? Was I always thought it was some kind of cell process or pat of a cell? But it is really a cnidocyte (also known as a endoblast or nematocyst) is an explosive cell containing one giant secretory organelle or cnida. Which is pretty interesting that it is really the explosive cell of one giant secretary.

One amazing thing I learned this year was that one little thing can affect an entire ecosystem. This is amazing because this was something I never would have guessed was possible. Such as if bees were taken away from an ecosystem.

One amazing thing I learned this year was about different types of cells and what each cell's job was in both animal/plant structures. I learned that to be considered a living thing, you must be made up of cells, and that is what makes us human.

One thing we did this year that was AMAZING was the bacteria growth experiment. I learned how quickly bacteria multiplies and where the most bacteria can accumulate. (Our MacBooks for example. :P)
