Types of Rocks

Igneous, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic

There are 3 types of rocks igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary. Igneous is formed by  magma and metamorphic is formed by other rocks. Then finally theres sedimentary and its formed by layers of heat and pressure. Igneous is made quickly by just heating up and then hardening up and cooling off. Now metamorphic is made the same way because they are all made by lots and lots of heat and pressure. Thats how there all made and formed.  There is a lot of different types of rocks but igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary are the main types of rocks. But metamorphic is truly made by other rocks squeezed together into earths crust. Also sedimentary is just when rock formed when sediment were pressed and cemented together. Finally, igneous is really just rocks forming from coaled magma. That is the main things about the three types of rocks igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary.

This video is about how the three types of rocks are formed.  I hope you enjoy this video.
