When Lorraine had a dream about the pig room, it was an omen of death.
TEXT TO SELF I'm connecting to the time I was dared to hang out with this girl in my old neighborhood. Everyone told me she was mean and I didn't know because I was new to the neighborhood. I hung out with her and we became really good friends, she was very sweet and nice. People misjudged her. To this day she still doesn't know it was a dare. TEXT TO WORLD I'm connecting to the world because I am pretty sure everyone has been dared or played a prank on someone they didn't know well, then later became friends with them.
"Mr. Pignati----" I started, the words catching in my throat.
This song connects to this book because while John and Lorraine are visiting Mr. Pignati he is telling them jokes, and stories. As they told us their story about his death they are telling us about his life and what he did for them.
