Cornell opened for instruction on the hill overlooking Ithaca in 1868. It started developing as a hybrid school which means that is was both a public and a private school. This university had its origin in the desire of Ezra Cornell, which established this institution with higher learning. It used to be an all men school until the year of 1872, which was when women began admitting to this college.
This university had thousands of students enrolling since the beginning of the twentieth century. Many students apply to this college since it is an IV League but unfortunately not every gets to join their campus because it is very competitive. It has many career branches that you can study there such as law firm, engineering, architecture, veterinary medicine, health care, and etc.

The majority of students who got admitted into this college had an average of "A's" throughout their high school years. SAT scores must be above 2000 and for the composition part on the ACT, its required above 29. Cornell looks for intellectual potential, they look to see if you challenged yourself to take higher level classes throughout you high school years. They also look at your character, your involvement, and the reasons on why you chose them.

Cornell has many academic buildings and residence halls, libraries and eateries, research labs and facilities, housed in buildings that show events from the past, and in addition to that, it has many nature architectures that will surely impress you.

The pathway that i want to go into here at this university is health care. I want to be a nurse when i get older. Currently their healthcare system is going through a huge transformation to open new and more opportunities to students. Department members teach the courses through the building of medical sciences and in facility training programs. This department collaborates with various clinical and policy projects.

My cousin went and studied in that field and he gave me a brief story of the time he shared there in that program. I want to go study in the healthcare system not only because he said it was a great experience but also because many other students do too, and recommend it. You get to do hands-on activities which will prepare you for your future career.

Nurses require more education than licensed practical nurses and usually take a wider range of responsibilities. They are involved in a variety of duties. An example of that would be providing direct patient care. Their work with patients can be divided into four general duties. First, they check patients' physical, mental, and emotional health status. Next, they help design and carry out treatment plans for patients; giving medications or injections. Third, they monitor results of treatment. And lastly, they keep family members informed about their medical options and educate them.

To become a registered nurse, you must earn a high school diploma and then complete a post-secondary nursing program. The amount of earnings a nurse makes depends on where they work. Usually they make an earning between $45,000 to $95,000. They can make even more money by working overtime.
