Flow of Life

By: Grant Cook 4/16/14

Staring at a river,
I see something;
the story of life.

Every river starts as a slight trickle of water
growing into something extravagant.

As each drop of water flows
it's a drop you will never grasp again.

As the water rushes around a rock,
it reminds me of obstacles in life.
Obstacles that we encounter and
change us and form us into what we are now.

Like life,
rivers have no forever.
The end hides behind a curve or a waterfall.
Ending never starting again.
