How did I make the theme my own?

I made the theme own by photographing a mosaic I built last year titled "Broken Beauty". The mosaic is made of broken mirror pieces. I used a flashlight to project the light from the mosaic on to the wall.

What do I like about my photo?

I like the way the light is reflecting off of the mosaic and on to the wall.

What would I change about my photo?

I would change the position of the mosaic because part of the B in beauty is cut off.

What actions did I run and what did I do with these actions?

First I cropped the image down. Then I used Black Ice from the Ghost Stories Actions. After I ran the action I adjusted the Brightness and the contrast. The final action I ran was Define and Sharpen to finalize the photo.

What photo from last week do I think is the best and why?

My favorite photo from last week was Jenna Alstad's photo from the theme "Snowed in". I liked how her photo was different in the way that she didn't have to show snow to fit the theme "Snowed in". Her editing does enhance her photo and she did a nice with the composition of it.

The first picture below is after editing and the second photo is before editing.
