Assignment #1: Go to padlet and answer the following essential question:

Who are the people that make decisions in our local, state, and national government?

You may use the video below to help you answer our essential question.  Please watch the video before our class discussion on November 3, 2014.

Assignment #2: Go to our class Symbaloo to research facts about government that are important for a US citizen to know. Create a venn diagram in Inspiration to compare and contrast the facts you find.  See the example below. Due on: November 4, 2014

Assignment #3:  Synthesize your researched facts and create a news report script.  Your script must embed at least 4 facts about the branch of government or a person in a particular branch of government and be written as if you were a reporter for a local news channel.  Your facts can fun and/or informational and not found in your Social Studies textbook.  Due on November 7, 2014.

Assignment #4:  Select an appropriate background image that will be the location from which you will be reporting.  Example if you are reporting about Executive Branch the White House would be an appropriate location.  Due on: Due November 10, 2014

Assignment #5: Report your facts on camera.  Make sure your script and background image have been approved.  Due on November 12, 2014.

Assignment #6:  Edit and produce your fact reporting video.  Use blabberize to enhance the reporting video.  You will use Pixie to edit and produce the video.
