Theories of Evil
The Fragile Theory of Evil
The Fragile Theory of Evil explains why human beings indulge in evil. This includes various reasons as to why people act the way that they do. These reasons are peer pressure, obedience to authority , abusive experiences, and many more. This causes humans to seek power or some form of self-confidence, which causes evil actions. According to this theory, people may not agree to some evils, but they still do these acts anyways.
Thomas Jefferson is a strong example, because he believed that human beings were created equal, and had the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, yet he owned slaves.
