Bioengineering & Biomedical

What They Do & Their Projects
A biomedical engineer developes technologies and medicines used to help people and cure sicknesses. X-rays and ultrasound were both invented by biomedical engineers, and are now commonly used in hospitals and medical centers. Some technologies that biomedical engineers are working towards now are prosthetic legs designed for children, grow tissues for the heart after a heart attack, and cancer treatments that don't have all the bad side effects.
Why I Find This Topic Interesting
I find this engineering field the most interesting for many reasons. One of the reasons is that I am interested in going into the medical field when I am older. Also, inventions by biomedical engineers have helped people in so many ways, from curing sicknesses to saving loved ones.
