Public Safety Announcement
Regarding teens and the dangers of drinking and driving
Drinking while driving is the #1 killer in today's youth, 1 in 10 teens in high school drinks and drives. Teen drivers are 3 times more likely than more experienced drivers to be in a fatal crash. Drinking any alcohol greatly increases this risk for teens. The vast majority of young drinking drivers die or are seriously injured in crashes at night coming home from a bar, party, etc. Most of the injuries occur with males in the driver seat.
