Boston was the heart of the revolution, where many of the main events like the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, and the Intolerable Acts occurred.

The Intolerable Acts were laws put in place by the British prime minister in response to the Boston tea party. These were the harshest laws approved by parliament, and they included closing Boston's port which would cost the colonists a lot of money.

The Boston Tea Party was when colonists were so outraged by the Tea Act that the Sons of Liberty disguised themselves as native Americans and boarded 3 ships that had crates of tea on them, and dumped 342 crates of tea into the Boston harbor.

The Boston Massacre was when British soldiers shot 5 colonists and killed one. This made the tension grow between the colonists and the soldiers.
