**Circumfrence**

### Presented by: Emily Calhoon

** Circumference**- Circumference is the perimeter of a circle.

** Radius**- A straight line from the center of the circle to the outside of a circle.

* Diameter*- A straight line passing from side to side through the center or body of a circle.

## The formula for Circumference is *3.14*x**D** or **2**x**3.14**x*R*

**R**=Radius

**D**= Diameter

*Pie*=3.14

To find the radius you take the diameter and divide it by 2.

*3.14*

**D**

**2**

*R*

**R**

**D**

*Pie*

*First you write down the formula*

C=2(3.14)xR

*Then you plug in the numbers*

C=2(3.14)x7

*Then you solve*

C=6.28x7

C=43.96
