1st Moon Observation

This is where you will type the information in paragraph 7 on your moon observation sheets. You will include the date, time, location of moon in the sky, moon's shape and appearance.

Finally, you will share the questions that you had after the first observation in this paragraph. Don't answer them yet, just type them here.

2nd Moon Observation

This is where you will type the information in paragraph 7 on your second moon observation sheet. Again, you need to include the date, time, location of the moon in the sky, moon's shape and appearance.

This is where you will share the information from paragraphs 8 and 9 from your second moon observation.

Finally, you will include your questions from the second observation in this section. Do not answer them yet!

3rd Moon Observation

Repeat all of the steps above. Continue this for all 6 moon observations.

The Moon: Questions & Answers

In this section you will retype all of the questions for each of the moon observations and answer them. In order to do that you will need to research using reliable internet sources and the moon books available in the classroom. Please use the following format for your questions and answers.

My Reflection

In this section you will write a thoughtful reflection including the process of collecting moon observation data, what you learned throughout this experience, what you liked and disliked about the project, what you might do differently, etc. You should have one paragraph explaining what you learned: include how the moon works, why it has phases, etc. You should have one paragraph explaining the process for collecting data. You should have a final paragraph detailing what you liked and disliked and what you might do differently. The reflection will be a very large part of your grade, review expectations for reflections or ask if you need help!
