AGENTS OF SOCIALIZATION
BY COURTNEY ENGEL
My parents were the first to ever teach me socialization skills. They taught me to share my things with my siblings, to behave, especially in public areas, and of course, that you can't always have what you want. They taught me my first words that I'd someday speak to other kids my age, as well as adults. They showed me how to treat others with respect before I even knew the meaning of the word.
