-One Word Summary-Rosie Steiger-Hour 2-
Industrial revolution is the start of modern day technology. It helped make and shape the society we live in today. It started with humans wanting everything done faster and easier. Factories played an important role in this. Factory owners wanted to find ways to produce more products within the same, or less, amount of time. Factories first started in England, the slowly spread across to other parts of Europe and the then newly formed America. They usually placed them near bodies of moving water. The water would then move a huge wheel which would move all the other gears inside the building, starting the machines. Other companies then saw this idea and copied it. Factories started the mass production of everything, and industrial production.
