Apollo 11

The objective was to land a maned spacecraft on the moon and collect lunar rock it was a success

Neil Armstrong: Was the first man to step on the moon he gathered lunar rocks with buzz for a total of 21.5 hours until they returned to the command craft

Buzz Aldrin: He was the second person to step on the moon he helped Neil collect lunar rocks for 21.5 hours until they returned to the command craft

Michael Collins piloted the command space craft alone in lunar orbit until Armstrong and Aldrin returned to it just under a day later for the trip back to Earth.
