SALEM WITCH TRIALS

Witches have had a bad reputation since the middle of the past millenium. The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft  in colonial Massachusetts between February 1692 and May 1693. Whenever something bad happened, people put the blame on the witches. It was very exaggerated and many innocent women fell victims to other people's  false accusations.
