Why I Greek Life at UD

University of Dayton

Friendships that last a lifetime

Coming into my sophomore year here at UD I was looking for a new place to call home. The year before I was on theVarsity Women's Rowing team and those girls were my best friends. However, this year I would no longer be playing a sport and I knew I needed to find a new circle to become a part of. I found that circle in Kappa Delta through Greek Life here at Dayton. I have gained so many new friends that I never would have never met otherwise and I am now lucky enough to be able to call them sisters. Greek Life has also provided me with leadership opportunities. I was able to combine my love of sports with a role in Kappa Delta by being appointed as Intramural Chair. Being apart of this amazing sisterhood has allowed me to be myself, as well as instilling the confidence in me to step up and be a leader. Now as I approach the end of my sophomore year, I can't help but to become excited about all the amazing memories that are yet to come!

a dearer, sweeter spot than all the rest."
