The purpose of this document written by King John in England 1215, was to establish human rights.
~ "If a man dies owing money to Jews, his wife may have her dower and pay nothing towards the debt from it. If he leaves children that are under age, their needs may also be provided for on a scale appropriate to the size of his holding of lands." We believe that this quote should be implemented into the Constitution because when the husband dies with debt, the wife isn't obligated to have to pay the debt, and that way she can provide better care for her family.
~ "Heirs may be given in marriage, but not to someone of lower social standing." We believe that this quote should also be in the Constitution because it's easier for two people of the same level of maintenance to have the same understanding of values and morals.
~ "No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled, or deprived of his standing in any other way, nor will we proceed with force against him, or send others to do so, except by the lawful judgement of his equals or by the law of the land." This quote should be in the Constitution because it gives men the chance to fight for their right and prove their not guilty until proven only by lawful judgement.
