The Revolutionary War -Grace Ott
George Washington was born on February 22nd, 1732. He served president during 1789 to 1797. He was married, Martha Washington, and had no children. He is often referenced to "The Father of Our Country".
Life prior to the war-
Washington was believed that farming would be a forever profession. He grew up in Virginia with some family blood from the European side.
During the War-
Washington led many battles including The Battle of Trenton, The Battle of Princeton and a few others. While he led them with bravery and many colonists along him, the battles he fought in mostly led to victory of the Patriots.
Life After the War-
After the war he was called upon being the first president of the United States of America. He also started to be a part of one of the greatest in his legendary, The Constitution. Many years were put forth in writing stating the rights and laws for all in the U.S..
