Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji is located in Japan on the border of Yamanashi and Shizuoka. The latitude and longitude of Fuji is 35.3580 degrees North, 138.7310 degrees East. This volcano is an Active stratovolcano. The volcano has erupted 16 times since 781 AD. It is grand and beautiful standing 3,777.5 m above the ground surrounding it. The Volcano produces a very explosive type of magma. Years ago a government report estimated that the lava, ash, and smoke from a Fuji explosion would cause 21 billion dollars in damages. The volcano is full of a magma called balsamic magma and that is what caused Fuji to reach such great heights. This is an interesting and very beautiful destination to visit.
