-Diseases such as measles, cholera, chicken pox, typhus, and smallpox were brought over to America and devastated the Native population

-Trade of  goods and cultures between the New and Old World.

- Food such as potatoes, tomatoes, and peanuts were brought over to Eastern countries. They soon became a staple of eastern diets.
