In session 1,we explored the historical development of rockets, examine newton 's laws of motion , learn how rockets achieves flights and examine the force of flight, which include weight, thrust and drag.
In session 2 ,we learn about the rocket terms, such as thrust, weight ,drag and ect... We also created our rocket wings. Design the fins for your water-bottle rockets. learn about the progress rocket science made during the early 1900s.
In session 3 we learn about various categories of rockets. cut out and add colorful design to the fins of the bottle rocket. We also learn about the role Wernher von Braun played in the advancement of rocket science. And learn about the factor that affects the stability of a rocket in flight.
In session 4 prepare the rocket bottle to receive the fins. Glue the air tube onto the bottle. Attach the fins on the rocket body. Learn about the different types of rockets propulsion. Learn about total impulse.
In session 5 ,we work with newton's second law of motion. Cut out the transition cone. Color the transition cone. Applied the transition cone to the bottle rocket.
In session 6 ,we learn about the the aerodynamic principles of the transition cone . Learn about the effects of rocket ballast.
In session 7, we added the final touches of the rocket. Learn the basic procedure for a safe launch. Learn about the branch of mathematics used to calculate the apogee of a rocket.
